Television
At the risk of making myself seem a little unintellectual, I love American Dad! and Family Guy. And South Park, which nowadays is not only hilarious but it's as politically savage as any programme you could get.
Theatre
I saw the last night of the all-female Julius Caesar at the Donmar and that was an incredible production. It was set in a modern-day women's prison and it was a really well thought-out concept. Frances Barber, of course, was fabulous, but just to see all these wonderful actresses owning this very masculine play was great, and you never for one second thought that it didn't work.
Film
I saw The Master and I thought that Philip Seymour Hoffman, Amy Adams and Joaquin Phoenix's performances were absolutely extraordinary. I thought the film itself was one of the most deathly things I've ever seen, I just couldn't understand what the point of it was. But, I've spoken to a few people, whose opinions I trust, and they seem to love it, so maybe I just didn't get it.
Music
Whilst I've been in Liverpool doing A Day in the Death of Joe Egg I've been listening to some Beatles, because you've got to haven't you.
Ralf Little is in 'A Day in the Death of Joe Egg', Rose Theatre, Kingston (www.rosetheatrekingston.org) to 18 May
