Architecture Update: Dissatisfaction on every side

LLOYD'S of London is in dispute with two firms of architects who were involved with its new and old headquarters. The insurance giant is suing DEGW over delays in the completion of its Lime Street building where a refurbishment programme ran two years late on the original contract. Meanwhile, Sir Richard Rogers is locked in a battle over fees of more than pounds 250,000 which he believes the Richard Rogers Partnership is owed for design work on the award-winning Lloyd's building.
