This week's selection of art websites looks at how humans' skeletons and bones have been used in artworks to create new meanings.

Francois Robert's "Stop The Violence" series uses the human skeleton as a powerful visual image. The artist rearranges skeletons into logos and symbols to give them a new image.

A project that took bone cells from couples and grew them into rings that were then modified and turned into beautiful custom-designed jewelry.

Damien Hirst's life-sized sculpture, "For the Love of God" is a skull made out of platinum, encrusted in pave-set diamonds, complete with human teeth.

Sedlec Ossuary the Church of Bones - http://www.sedlecossuary.com/
The Czech Republic's Sedlec Ossuary, more commonly known as the Church of Bones, houses more than 40,000 human skeletons. The church is famous for the fascinating artistic works contained inside which include a chandelier crafted out of "at least one of every human bone" and the Schwarzenberg family coat of arms crafted entirely out of bones.
