Dancing On Ice’s Christopher Dean fights back tears in tribute to skaters killed in plane crash

Dancing On Ice judge Christopher Dean fought back tears as he paid tribute to members of the ice skating community who died in a Washington DC plane crash last week.

Sixty-seven people died in a mid-air collision between an Army Black Hawk helicopter and an American Airlines jet on Wednesday, 29 January, in what was the deadliest US aid disaster in almost 25 years.

Crews have recovered and identified the bodies of 55 victims in the deadly aircraft collision, officials said.

At least 14 athletes and coaches died while returning from an ice skating camp in Wichita.
