MIKE MYERS was once a humble TV presenter. Now he is the creator of such mega-hit comedies as Austin Powers: Internat-ional Man of Mystery (8pm Sky Premier, right), a spoof of 1960s spy capers. The premise of this satellite premiere is that secret agent Powers has been frozen in time. When he is reanimated in the present day, he is still saddled with his outmoded Sixties attitudes. Elizabeth Hurley provides sparky support as his sidekick.
If you're spending Saturday night in, you could do a lot worse than passing it in the company of Martin Scorsese. Sky Moviemax's evening dedicated to his work kicks off with The King of Comedy (8pm), a devastating black comedy about the nature of celebrity. It continues with a profile of the film-maker, Cutting Edge Special (9.45pm), and a screening of his scary remake of Cape Fear (10.15pm).
