Edinburgh Festival Day 2: Conferences

THE FIRST of this year's Traverse Theatre / Independent Conferences, which takes place today, is a masterclass with the acclaimed actress Harriet Walter and Patsy Rodenburg, Head of Voice at the National Theatre. They will demonstrate the art and technique of speaking well on stage and will take questions from the audience. The masterclass is open to all and is free of charge.

All conferences are at 11am in the new Traverse Theatre, Cambridge Street, Edinburgh EH1 (031-228 1404). Tickets are free and available on a first come, first served basis.
