SINCE HIS bright arrival on the music scene in the early 1980s, Billy Bragg (right) has drifted out of the limelight, but has rarely ceased protesting about politics. He is now a keeper of the Woody Guthrie flame, with his recent album Mermaid Avenue and an October tour putting music to the lyrics of the folk legend. With support from the Eliza Carthy Band and Hefner.
