Sir: I was intrigued by your picture showing a man with a broad grin and a suitcase in each hand (report, 2 June).

No other people were visible. The caption read: "Sir John Egan, BAA chief executive, with railway staff Catherine Well (left) and Debbie Syme." Were we meant to deduce that the two named ladies were in the two suitcases?
