Sir: Perhaps John Evans (letter, 5 May) is right to suggest that rugby union is a more "intellectually challenging" game than rugby league. I've spent many years watching both codes and I still can't work out why anyone would prefer watching the static 15-a-side game to the fast-moving 13-a-side game. Clearly a riddle beyond my intellectual capabilities.
