Coldplay‘s Chris Martin has reportedly filed a restraining order against a woman who believes she is in a relationship with the musician.

According to the Blast, Martin claims the woman has been stalking him for “quite some time” and he believes she has come to his home in the US multiple times, at one point placing ”a package inside his gate”.

It’s also reported that the police have already become involved and issued the woman a warning.

Martin is said to have become “increasingly worried” by the woman’s behaviour, with claims she had written letters referencing his children, alongside frequent mentions of their “relationship” and death.

The report states Martin included a declaration from his security guard to support his case, alongside documents detailing an extensive criminal record from the alleged stalker.

The musician reportedly made clear the woman is a”stranger”, adding that he is fearful for his safety and that of his family.

According to the report, the order was granted and the woman must stay at least 100 yards away until a court hearing next month.
