Keith Flint: The Chase criticised for 'ill-timed' question about The Prodigy
Tributes have been pouring in after the musician was found dead at his home over the weekend
Popular game show The Chase is receiving a backlash after it aired an unfortunate question involving The Prodigy just hours after Keith Flint's death was announced.
The pre-recorded show aired in the evening on 4 March, and included a question from host Bradley Walsh that asked: "Which of these chart acts has the fewest members?"
The possible answers were: A) The Prodigy, B) Pretenders or C) The Proclaimers.
Producers would have had no idea that the episode would be so poorly timed with the death of The Prodigy's frontman, but many viewers still took offence.
"Talk about bad timing," one audience member wrote, while another added: "A question referencing how many members are in The Prodigy on today's The Chase. Today of all days."
Tributes are continuing to pour in for the late musician, who was found dead at his home in Essex over the weekend.
Many who knew or met him have shared touching anecdotes about Flint as, despite his startling appearance, he was known for his sense of humour and kind demeanour.
