The new single sees the chart topping singer-songwriter tackle cyber bullying and trolling, with a high-energy, high-tech video satirising the rising trends.
In the song, Allen sings about social media - having been a victim to online trolls in the past - with lines such as: “If you’re trying to call it art I’ll have to take it all apart” and “I’m gonna put the world to right so when I’m a big boy I can write for Vice.”
After taking time out of the music scene for three years, Allen returned at the end of 2013 with her comeback single “Hard Out Here”.
The number one track ridiculed the way women are portrayed in the music industry, with the video blatantly mocking Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines”.
After a well-received performance at Glastonbury this year, Allen will play a series of European festival dates this summer, including V Festival (16/17 August) in the UK.
