New Grove Dictionary Competition: Part Two

LAST SUNDAY on these pages we published the first part of our competition to win the New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians, the world's most authoritative guide to classical music. The New Grove's 20 volumes usually cost pounds 1,400 (including CDs, books and magazines worth pounds 120), but we have a complete set to give away, courtesy of Macmillan Publishers Ltd. There are also five second prizes of boxed sets of Mozart CDs, courtesy of Polygram. Each set includes nine CDs: Le Nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni and Cosi fan tutte, played by the Drottningholn Court Theatre Orchestra and chorus, with conductor Arnold Ostman and soloists.
