IN TONIGHT'S clash, Aston Villa vs West Ham (7pm Sky Sports 1), supporters of John Gregory's promising team will be hoping that the new midfielder George Boateng and goalkeeper David James help the team improve on their poor form at the end of last season. However, Kafka (8pm FilmFour), made in 1991, is an intriguing examination of that most mesmerising of writers (played with haunted intensity by Jeremy Irons). With Theresa Russell and Ian Holm.
