The Perrier Award traditionally has TV producers buzzing round it like wasps at a picnic. This year's winner, Tommy Tiernan (right), an inspired story- teller, has already recorded a Channel 4 special. In addition, he has a part in the latest Ken Loach film, Hope Floats, which is released next month. Channel 4 is also showing interest in Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding, the creators of the wonderfully surreal show The Mighty Boosh, which picked up the Best Newcomers award. Expect to see them soon on a TV screen near you. Both acts feature in tomorrow's Perrier Pick of the Fringe show.
Her Majesty's Theatre, London W1 (0171-494 5558) tomorrow, 7.30pm
