The Sunday Preview: Art

Stephen Lewis (Francis Graham-Dixon, 071-250 1962, Fri to 11 July). New work by one of the most gifted of abstract steel sculptors.

Ian Davenport (Waddington Galleries, 071-437 8611, from Wed). New work from the noted paint-pourer.

Paris Post War (Tate, 071-821 1313, Wed to 5 Sept). Parisian art in the decade after the Liberation, with much emphasis on Existentialist gloom. Lots of documentation, associated films and discussions. The actual art is by Picasso, Wols, Dubuffet, Bram van Velde and others - a half-forgotten generation, capable of interesting art but not of masterpieces.
