IT IS an impressive feat when a familiar story is refreshingly told and Harold Pinter's drama about the much-examined triangular relationship shows that he is the king of technique. Pinter's Betrayal depicts a seven-year affair between Jerry, a literary agent, and Emma, the wife of Jerry's best friend, Robert. Imogen Stubbs will play Emma, Douglas Hodge, Jerry and Anthony Calf, Robert, under Trevor Nunn's direction.
Lyttelton Theatre, South Bank, Upper Ground, London SE1 (0171-452 3000) from 24 Nov
