The Great Stour Brewery & Museum in Canterbury has taken home brewing into a new dimension. Members of the public are invited to brew their own beer in batches of more than 100 pints, for as little as 40p a pint. Customers receive detailed advice sheets and have access to state- of-the-art brewing equipment to make their own bitter, lager, stouts, ales, milds and porters. You can even create your own personalised beer labels - a recent visitor was delighted with his Little Red Hen beer, as he put it, "a clucking fowl ale".

To book a brewing time, call the brewery on 01227 763579
