Jessica Alba was ‘not allowed to make eye contact’ with the cast of Beverly Hills, 90210
Actor appeared on two episodes of the hit series in 1998
Jessica Alba has revealed she was forbidden from making eye contact with the cast members of Beverly Hills, 90210.
The Fantastic Four star appeared on two episodes of the hit Nineties show as a teenage mother named Leanne in 1998.
Speaking on yesterday’s (1 October) episode of The Hot Ones – a YouTube series where celebrity guests answer questions while eating spicy chicken wings – Alba recalled her brief time on the show.
“On the set of 90210, I couldn’t even make eye contact with any of the cast members, which was really strange when you’re like trying to do a scene with them,” she said.
Alba, 39, added: “Yeah, it was like, ‘You’re not allowed to make eye contact with any one of the cast members or you’ll be thrown off the set.'”
The actor was 17 years old when she briefly appeared on the popular show.
Beverly Hills, 90210 followed the lives of a group of teenagers living in glamorous Beverly Hills, and starred Shannen Doherty, Tori Spelling, Luke Perry, Jason Priestly and Jennie Garth.
The series ran for 10 years from 1990 to 2000, before it was rebooted by The CW network as 90210. The 2013 reboot featured appearances from the original cast including Garth, Spelling and Doherty as adults.
