Antonia has been a professional travel writer for 20 years and was named Freelance Writer of the Year in the 2022 Travmedia Awards. Alongside her work for Independent Travel, she’s published in The Times, The Telegraph, the FT, the Daily Mail, The Guardian, The Observer, The New Zealand Herald, the South China Morning Post, National Geographic Traveller, Condé Nast Traveller, Food and Travel, Family Traveller, Country Life and Lonely Planet. Among her specialisms are accessible travel (her husband has a spinal injury), family travel (she has three children) and the Channel Islands (she was born and brought up in Jersey). She’s also a hotel expert and reviews for the Independent, Telegraph and Hearst magazines. As a presenter she’s appeared on Channel 4 and in travel videos created for the Times, the Telegraph and the Guardian. As a travel pundit she's appeared on BBC Radio 4, LBC and panel discussions.
