Newly released documents reveal Prince Andrew and an advisor met with King Charles at Windsor Castle to discuss the prince's future and funding, including the Eurasia Fund.
These meetings occurred discreetly to avoid media attention, given the controversy surrounding Prince Andrew.
Buckingham Palace clarified that while the King was briefed on funding proposals, alleged Chinese spy Yang Tengbo, linked to the Eurasia Fund, was never mentioned in the discussions.
The Palace disputes some claims in the released testimony, stating their records don't match the account and the Eurasia Fund never received royal approval.
Andrew's former advisor, Dominic Hampshire, stated in the documents that Mr. Yang played a role in drafting communications regarding the fund but emphasized that Mr. Yang did not have a close relationship with the Duke. Mr. Hampshire later clarified that he kept the Palace and intelligence services informed of his dealings with Mr. Yang and that his business activities are no longer connected to the Royal Family.
