STAR TREKKING

It's a sobering thought that a Star Trek episode is said to be screened somewhere on earth 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. That nowhere on the planet is exempt is clear from the fact that the usually demure resort of Bournemouth has now boldly gone where others have gone before. Today sees the opening of "Star Trek - The Exhibition". Key exhibits include full-size sets and the Klingon Throne.

International Centre, Exeter Rd, Bournemouth (01202-297297) 10am-5pm pounds 4
