Amazon Fire 7 tablet: Was £49.99, now £34.99, Amazon.co.uk

(Amazon)

Despite being the most affordable tablet in Amazon’s own-brand range, the Fire 7 landed a spot in our review of the best tablets, where David Phelan called it a fantastic device that is “effortlessly portable”, a great option then for when commuting is back on the cards. Owing to its price, the screen resolution isn’t as strong as its competitors but is still good. The same can be said for its 16GB storage capacity, but it still offers enough for most users.

“Purchases such as Amazon movies, Kindle books and Audible audiobooks are automatically available and the tablet works well with Amazon Prime Video,” noted Phelan. He added that “the price is the real standout here,” so with a whopping saving of 30 per cent, it’s even better.

Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus: Was £109.99, now £89.99, Amazon.co.uk

(Amazon)

Another tablet which received high praise in our review of the best, the Fire HD 8 Plus has had a recent update, with Phelan noting that it now has a “significantly-improved processor so it’s especially fast and effective”. He added that “Amazon’s devices work with each other well, so if you have books on a Kindle, say, they will appear on this tablet”. Despite its keen price, it doesn’t mean they aren’t well-made or have a high spec, in fact, quite the opposite. Snap this deal up now, you don’t want to miss out.

Amazon Fire HD 10: Was £149.99, now £109.99, Amazon.co.uk

(Amazon)

With its 10in screen, it’s the biggest display of any Amazon tablet and the highest resolution, which Phelan says makes it the best Amazon tablet for watching videos on. “It’s a sleek and effective machine, with plenty of power and strong battery life,” he notes. With £40 off, this really is a no-brainer, and it comes in black, blue, white or plum.

Amazon Fire HD 10 kids edition tablet: Was £199.99, now £149.99, Amazon.co.uk

(Amazon)

With more time spent at home with your children, perhaps you’re looking for a device that will keep them occupied. Enter the Amazon Fire HD 10, which landed the top spot in our review of the best kids’ tablets. Phelan praised Amazon for its “cool line of tablets” for kids, which feature a colourful bumper to protect it from being dropped. And the price includes a year’s subscription to Fire for kids, offering access to games, books, educational apps and more. If you’re after a device that has a slightly smaller screen, the Amazon Fire 7 kids edition (was £99.99, now £69.99, Amazon.co.uk) is similarly reduced by 30 per cent and Phelan praised it for being the “best kids’ tablet for under £100”.
