Approximately 1 in 12 men and 1 in 200 women worldwide are affected by colour blindness, which equates to about 2.7 million people in the country.

The term ‘colour blindness’ is midleading - very few people can’t see any colour at all.

The most common form of colour blindness is known as red/green colour blindness, which causes those affected to mix up all colours which have any red and green pigment.
