We should stop taking disability so seriously. We're almost a week into the Paralympics, and some people are tying themselves in knots trying to work out what they can and can't say. But as long as you mean well, and people know that it's coming from the right place, it's quite hard to be offensive. I was born without a right foot, so I guess that makes it easier for me to say something controversial, but here's some friendly advice on how to navigate the channels of political correctness at the Paralympics.
