The Duke of Edinburgh attends the Queen's Body Guard of the Yeomen of the Guard Roger Monk Dinner at the Union Jack Club, London SE1. The Princess Royal, President, Animal Health Trust, attends the Animal Welfare Symposium, Royal Society, London SW1; visits Musto Limited, Laindon, Essex; and as Patron, Spinal Injuries Association, attends the Grand National Anniversary Ball, Dorchester Hotel, London W1. The Duchess of Gloucester opens the new Adult In-Patient Psychiatric Facilities at Hellesdon Hospital, Norwich; visits Norwich Cathedral and meets members of the St Matthew Society; and visits the offices of Norwich and District Victim Support, Norwich. Princess Alexandra opens Crieff Hospital, Perthshire; and as President, visits the Imperial Cancer Research Fund Shop, Crieff, Perthshire.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am; 1st Battalion Scots Guards mounts the Queen's Guard, at Buckingham Palace, 11.30am, band provided by the Irish Guards.
