Ryder Cup tickets available for both practice and match days

Ticket prices for the Ryder Cup match days and public practices have been announced ahead of the October tournament in the UK, with tickets available from the Ryder Cup website starting at £30 (€35/$50) to view the practice rounds, up to £130 (€150/$215) for the final day's play.
The Ryder Cup is a team golf match between the USA and Europe that takes place every two years. The previous tournament was hosted by the USA at the Valhalla Golf Club in Kentucky, so for 2010 the venue returns to Europe, this time at the Celtic Manor Resort near Cardiff in Wales.
The crucial matches run from Friday, October 1 to Sunday, October 3, with ticket prices between £100 and £130 (€115-150/$160-215). Passes for the practice days on September 28-30 are somewhat cheaper, at £30 (€35/$50) on the Tuesday and Wednesday, and £40 (€45/$65) on Thursday, September 30 which includes the Ryder Cup's opening ceremony.
The Ryder Cup occurs after the four PGA Tour Majors - the Augusta Masters in April, US Open in New York in June, the Open at St Andrews in July, and the PGA Championship this year at Whistling Straits in August - but before the World Golf Championships in Shanghai in November.
