IN AMERICA everyone's talking about Rushmore, the latest film from director Wes Anderson, which has got its audience into a right old war of words. If you love it, it's a brilliant, heart-warming, quirky comedy. If you hate it, it's a monotonous, plotless waste of time. And if you're indifferent, you're not smart enough to get it. Starring Bill Murray, Jason Schwartzan and British actress Olivia Williams, Rushmore is about a high-school nerd who, along with his wealthy benefactor, falls in love with a teacher. But the plot is hardly the point. Go see it and make up your own mind - because come next week it'll be causing an uproar over here.
`Rushmore' is at selected cinemas nationwide from 20 August.
