The Queen and Meghan Markle have been named alongside Amal Clooney and Harry Styles among Tatler’s best dressed for 2018.

While the full catalogue of the society magazine’s choices will be released later today, it looks as though the royal family is set to dominate.

Referred to as “the ultimate power dresser”, the Queen tops the list thanks to her “bright block colours” and love of floral prints, while The Duchess of Cambridge was lauded for re-wearing her looks on several occasions and choosing from both high street and high-end labels.

Unsurprisingly, The Duchess of Sussex also joins the list following her wedding to Prince Harry earlier this year.

The publication says: “Prince Harry's Californian bride blew us away with her Givenchy wedding dress and has redefined modern royal style with every subsequent appearance.”

Other members of the royal family on the best-dressed list include the Duchess of Cornwall for giving “millinery a good name” and Prince George who “flies the flag for Christopher Robin chic” with his wardrobe of shorts, long socks and sleeveless jumpers.

Human rights lawyer Amal Clooney, fashion designer Stella McCartney and acting couple Lily James and Matt Smith have also been chosen.

Dua Lipa was commended for her looks both on and off stage, especially the “bra tops and tracksuits” combination with her “incredible abs.”

Among the men who made it on the list were singer Harry Styles and Get Out actor Daniel Kaluuya who is described as being “sharp and suave.”

The line-up also includes a number of high society names including Lady Jean Campbell, Debbie von Bismarck, Sabine Getty and the Countess of Mornington.

Earlier this year, the society bible also released its list of the hottest drinks of 2018 and which ones are so 2017.

According to Tatler, “the best people” will be drinking Negronis and you’ll likely spot them in every hand, while millennial pink rosé and variations including frosé topped the list of “out” drinks.
