Michael McEvoy, the father of Jane McEvoy, former fiancee of England spin bowler Phil Tufnell, was further remanded on bail yesterday charged with causing the cricketer grievous bodily harm. McEvoy, 50, a company director, of Grange Park, Enfield, north London, is also accused of making a nuisance telephone call. He was remanded until July 28.
