BURN down to the Barbican. `The Art of the Harley' features 30 of the world's best customised Harley-Davidson motorcycles, including `Captain America', the chopper that transformed Peter Fonda into a counter-culture icon in Easy Rider. As well as giving an historical overview of custom Harleys' origins, the exhibition contrasts European and American decorative styles and traces the presence of this American classic in popular culture. PROSTRATE yourself before "Court of Gayumars". This 16th-century painting was reputed to have caused men to bow their heads in shame before its beauty and is just one of the Prince and Princess Sadruddin Aga Khan's 140 paintings and drawings in "Princes, Poets and Paladins" at the British Museum.
