Hounslow's Hindu community is getting its first purpose-built cultural centre for social occasions and prayer.

Community leaders have spent five years searching for a suitable site as worshippers have to travel to neighbouring Southall. The cost of the centre, to be built in Neville Close, will be met by the council and the Hindu Community Centre Trust.
