On Sunday 15 June , 27,000 pedallers will take part in The British Heart Foundation London to Brighton Bike Ride. You could be one of them. The task? To ride from London's Clapham Common to the Brighton sea front. The aim? To raise as much money as possible for The British Heart Foundation and its research into the UK's biggest killer - heart disease.

All public entries for the ride have now been allocated - but the British Heart Foundation has reserved 25 special places for the winners of this competition. To enter, you must be over 18 and correctly answer the following question: Who won the 1996 Tour de France?

Send your answers on a postcard (including daytime telephone number), by 31 May, to: The Eye/Bike Ride Comp, British Heart Foundation, 14 Fitzhardinge Street, London, W1H 4DH. The first 25 correct entries drawn from the post- bag will each win a guaranteed place for this year's London to Brighton Bike Ride. Winners will be notified by 7 June. The top fundraiser from the 25 winners will receive pounds 150 worth of sports vouchers.
