The top 30 things British people do on Sundays
Eating a roast dinner and visiting friends among most popular activites, with only one in five choosing to do life admin

Britons are most likely to spend their Sunday eating a roast dinner, taking a long walk and watching a film on television, a new survey claims.
The poll of 2,000 people also found that respondents typically had four hours and 42 minutes of downtime on the day of rest.
But less than one in five said they found the time to sort out overdue life-admin tasks at the end of the week and only one in six worked on their finances.
Over 70 per cent of those surveyed said they made a to-do list of tasks they needed to tackle over the weekend. But more than half said they could spend more time doing the jobs on their to-do lists on a Sunday.
Nearly two thirds of those polled said Sunday mornings can “fly by” without them “getting up to a huge amount”.
"Sunday is an ideal day for consumers to take back control of their household finances – turning traditional ‘Sofa Sundays’ into a money saving triumph," said Peter Earle, head of energy at comparethemarket.com, which commissioned the study.
The survey also found that 43 per cent of those polled think Sundays were primarily for “relaxing and recharging after the working week”.
Three in five said they often put off their Sunday to-do list to do more enjoyable activities, nearly a third said they had a lie-in and three in 10 do exercise on a Sunday.
Three in 10 respondents said they spent time visiting friends and family, while almost two in five prefer to spend the day in front of the TV.
