ACCORDING to Thierry Soufflard, the author of the "Where To Kiss In Paris" guide: "Kissing is far too serious an affair to be left to chance". His tips are divided into places where the full-on art of French kissing is appreciated and others where lovers will have to make do with a more chaste kiss on the lips - from behind the waterfall in the Bois de Bologne to standing in front of the Mona Lisa.

"Ou s'embrasser a Paris" ("Where To Kiss In Paris"), by Thierry Soufflard, is published by Parigramme and costs 35 francs. Enquiries: 00 331 44 542424.
