The Breakfast Club Club Cyberia, 24 Scala Street, W1 (0171 813 1926). Club-goers scoff chai tea and cornflakes while surfing the internet. From 11am; pounds 2.50 entrance.

The Lanesborough 1 Lanesborough Place, Hyde Park Corner, SW1 (0171 259 5599). Start with an aperitif before diving into the four-course Jazz brunch menu (pounds 24.50) From 12noon-3pm.

Camden Brasserie 214-216 Camden High Street, NW1 (0171 482 2114). Popular brunching place. 12noon-4pm.

Chapel Lafayette 374 North End Road SW6 (0171 610 3457). Set menu costs pounds 5.50; includes pancakes with ice-cream. 11.30am-3.30pm.

Jimmy Beez 303 Portobello Road, W10 (0181 964 9100). The adventurous will order a pitcher of Bloody Mary with their French toast. 11am-6pm.

The Pump Room Milburns Restaurant, Stall Street, Bath (01225 444477). Take a stroll around the Roman baths and work up an appetite. Set price of pounds 6.25. From 10.30am.

Browns 3/4 Duke Street and 34 Ship Street, Brighton (01273 323501). Smoked salmon, triple-decker bacon sandwiches. From 12noon.

Maison Hector Deanhaugh Street, Stockbridge, Edinburgh (0131 3325328). The whole city brunches here. 11am-4pm.
