Where shall we meet?: The Admiral Codrington

The Admiral Codrington is so quintessentially the Sloane Pub as to be almost frightening. Its dark wood-on-wood interior is inhabited at all times with a thoroughly washed, straight-haired clientele talking about what they will be doing out of town at the weekend - even if it is the weekend. Its brighter back room, a conservatory with tiled floor and stripped benches, rarely fills up, though, except at half-term, when the cleanest rebels you ever saw will be sitting in each other's laps and talking about raves. Close to shopping havens like Walton Street and the Conran shop, though parking for the GTi is scarce.
