PEOPLE refused credit or simply curious about their rating will find some of the answers in a new leaflet from the credit reference agency CCN.

Entitled Helping You to Understand Your Credit File, the leaflet attempts to clear up some of the mystery surrounding credit agencies and gives advice about what to do when credit is refused.

It outlines the sources used for credit information and how to appeal if you wish to challenge the details of your credit reference file.
