Briefly: Mercury miles

ANYONE who invests the maximum pounds 6,000 in a Mercury personal equity plan will get 600 free Air Miles - enough for a return flight to Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels or Jersey from almost anywhere in the United Kingdom.

There is also a 1 per cent discount on the investments, which reduces the initial charge to 4 per cent. The annual management charge is 1.5 per cent.

Mercury, which is the only fund manager to offer Air Miles, will use two unit trusts - Mercury Income and Mercury British Blue Chip for the 1992/3 Pep.
