Halifax Building Society is improving interest rates on some of its investment accounts. Deposits in its Asset Reserve and Instant Xtra Plus accounts will go up by 0.25 per cent across the range. The Premium Xtra account will pay an additional 0.2 per cent, while the 90-day Xtra will increase on some savings tiers.
