PRIVATE investors who want to take part in more small company flotations can find out about placings through the New Issue Register (NIR). For an annual pounds 75 subscription, investors will be told about offers made through placings that are usually only open to the institutions. The NIR will group together private investors so that they can take part in placings as if they were institutions.
