Leeds removes fixed rate
THE PREVIOUS five-year fixed rate from Leeds Permanent has been withdrawn, but the loan from the Bank of Ireland also has no compulsory insurances attached. There is a fee of pounds 260. The BNP capped rate also had no insurance conditions, and a fee of pounds 295.
Chase de Vere has a loan from Capital Home Loans with no interest until 1 August, with the rate then fixed at 4.95 per cent until 1 December.
Borrowers can then choose either a three-year fix at current rates or go on to the variable rate. The loan is only for those with a deposit of at least 20 per cent.
The Royal Bank of Scotland is increasing the rates on some of its fixed rates. Loans of 80 per cent of property value move from 7.65 to 7.99 per cent, but loans between 95 and 100 per cent remain at 8.99 per cent fixed for 10 years.
Nationwide has a two-year fix at 6.2 per cent and a three- year year fix at 6.65 per cent.
