Woolwich in new fix

THE Woolwich has announced two new fixed-rate loans. The first is at 8.15 per cent for seven years, and the second is fixed for four years at 6.99 per cent.

The society has withdrawn its three-year 6.95 per cent fixed rate.

Cheltenham & Gloucester is offering a five-year 6.99 per cent fixed rate mortgage for people with a minimum deposit of 10 per cent.
