SOLICITORS will again be exhorting people to make wills in The Law Society's second Make a Will Week, writes Lucy Reese.
The star of the nationwide promotions from 12 to 18 October is a Superman-style character called Will Power in a turquoise lycra bodysuit, who will attempt to persuade the public that 'making a will won't kill you'. And the Law Society will supply solicitors with posters and free leaflets telling people how to make a will. It hopes to put across the point that a basic will is not expensive - from pounds 50 to pounds 70 - and that to have one is not 'tempting Providence' but a way of keeping control of assets and property.
