NET receipts from National Savings totalled pounds 126m in August. Total gross sales of all National Savings products in August amounted to pounds 610m, the Treasury reports. After repayments of pounds 484m, the surplus totalled pounds 126m. Including accrued interest of pounds 133m, the contribution to government funding last month was pounds 259m.
