Tuesday’s Conference Diary reported that Donal Blaney had, during a speech at the Conservative Way Forward reception, failed to spot Liam Fox MP in the room and had therefore not welcomed him by name as he had other MPs who were present. Mr Blaney has informed us that he was not in fact the speaker in question and we are glad to set the record straight. Our apologies for the error.
