Alexis Lykiard was born in Athens in 1940 and now lives in Exeter, Devon. He is the author of nine novels, including The Summer Ghosts, Strange Alphabet and The Drive North, and 15 collections of poetry, since 1961. These include: Robe of Skin, Out of Exile, Living Jazz and Beautiful is Enough. He has also edited numerous collections of poetry and prose and translated many books from French to English. This poem appears in Cat Kin published by SinclairStevenson at £6.99.
