Danes' EU challenge fails

DENMARK'S Supreme Court ruled that Danish membership of the European Union was in line with the constitution, allowing Denmark to stay in the EU mainstream. The verdict was in response to a petition by a citizens' group which had challenged Danish EU membership on constitutional grounds. - Reuters, Copenhagen
