Detective quizzed in corruption hunt

A former CID chief has become the highest-ranking policeman to be quizzed by Scotland Yard's anti-corruption squad officers in connection with a burglary. Detective Superintendent John Roberts was arrested as part of an investigation into allegations of theft of money and drugs from criminals, and the sale of information to private detectives and lawyers.
