Students can pick their ideal university by a new CD-Rom released yesterday by Push - the organisation that provides an alternative guide to university life.
The database will allow prospective students to rank the UK's 128 universities in order of preferences they key in, which range from the type of course to flunk rates and the cost of living. It will be useful in school and college careers libraries.
`Push CD, the Multimedia Student Guide to UK Universities', £99, published by McGraw-Hill. For more details, ring 01628 23432.
